  • Starting eSignal with specified layout

As I understand it eSignal will open using the last layout used. Alternatively, if no layout is desired to start with , the command line can be modified to:

    "C:\Program Files\eSignal\WinSig.exe" /n

Is there a similar way of specifying which layout is to be used in the command line?

Absolutely, it would be something like this. C:\Program Files\eSignal\LayoutName.lay Where you see LayoutName enter the layout you would like to have opened.

Since Pages actually have their own folder it would be a little different. Something like this C:\Program Files\eSignal\Pages\MyPage.pg

NOTE: These command lines are based on your pages/layouts being stored in the default folder of eSignal. If you’re accessing the files from a folder other then the eSignal directory you would put in the location of the files with the appropriate extension. (.lay for Layouts and .pg for pages)
