  • Dbcapi.dll is too old

Using 10.5 . Started to appear lately... I uninstall, reboot, reinstall, and still doesn't work. Sometimes I get it working after a few tryouts, or on another computer... tried to do it with older dbcapi from 10.3... Is there no fixed version for this dll , like download this, place in folders and it works?

In most cases this is going to be seen when an application that uses the DBCAPI.dll is accessing an older of the DLL then that which the application was developered with.

The easiest way to correct this is to do a search on the machine for the newest copy of the DBCAPI.dll file and copy the file into each of the directories that holds one.

If you continue to see the issue after the steps above have been completed. Your course of action would be to delete the DBCAPI.dll from the eSignal directory and reinstall eSignal.

    Hopefully this is helpful.
