View inverted / upsidedown chart in advance charts ?

Does anyone know if it is possible to view chart for any instruments upside down (inverted) in eSignal Advance Chart ?

Like some other charting platform I used to use allowed to accomplish this by putting a minus sign '-' in front of the symbol to be charted - e.g. '-APPL'

For my trading, I find that this method works for me. Lets use AAPL for this example:

AAPL * -1
AAPL(space)*(space)-1

or

1 / AAPL
1 (space) / (space) AAPL

A space character before and after the operand is required for version 10.2 or greater.

Your solution (AAPL * -1) meets my requirement. Essentially I look at charts both ways, up & upsidedown just to take my natural directional bias off.

The idea of an inverted chart fascinates me. However, when I tried to follow your directions , my screen went blank. I trade the indices. Where do you put the symbol(space)*(space)-1? Can you help me, please?

Hey Diane,

You have two options when it comes to adding a custom symbol or spread to your chart

(1) Enter your spread into the Change Symbol of the chart window



(2) You can use the Symbol Spread feature under Tools menu.
