  • How to remove chart titles

Hi, I would like to know if it is possible to get rid of the lines that say

    (ES H0 - E-MINI S&P, 10) Dynamic,0:00-24:00

I can remove study titles but have no idea how to remove the chart titles.

I already hide the title bars and I know where my charts are. These text just pollute the chart area. I would like to remove them as they serve no purpose to me.

This problem especially an issue when using multiple symbols in a chart. I put multiple user-defined spreads in a small chart and the text pretty much covers all my charts.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

Yes the Chart Description can be removed from the chart by changing the OHLC Color in the Edit Studies Window to match that of the chart background (see attached).

Please note the depending on what color your chart background is this could affect text in your Cursor Window should you use one.

The work around seems to work fine in the chart window.

However, when I mouse over my charts and the Cursor Window appears, I am unable to read the text in the cursor window as the background of the cursor window has also changed to white.

However, changing the colour of the text in the cursor window doesn't work as half of the cursor window is still black, and I would also have to change the background colour of all my other studies.

      Is there another alternative solution?

      Thank you and best regards.

In a situation like this there are not a lot of options. Using a neutral gray for your Cursor Window Text or chart background would be my suggestion, even if you cursor window is a rainbow of colors gray will tend to still stand out.
