    Hello all,

    When using eSignal paper trade, what is the lot size for an FX order ie mini (10k) contract or full (100k) contract?

    on speaking with the support team, the below covers the

    The order size is not a pip value or a contract value, its a dollar value for example to enter a 10 to 1 leverages position of $150,000 in value you need to enter 150,000 in the order window

      but of course the oder window will not accept 150000 so Im still trying to figure out the value, anyone got any ideas??

        Ainsley,

        You may have been misinformed or there was a miscommunication as to how the *pip (Ticks) value for StopLoss or Take Profit would be applied. This price is based on the current traded price not the total value of the trade.


        For the example we'll use the EURO.

        A limit order for 10000 Euro dollars at a price of 1.2270 with a stop loss of 100 pips below **(1.2270 - .0100 = 1.2170) would be look like attached screenshot.


        *Pip Value is going to be the number of pips below or above the trade entered price.

        ** Entry Price minus Stop Loss Ticks == StopLoss
