I am a relatively new esignal user -
February 2010. When I joined, I was told that there would be a new release that would REPLACE 10.6 - that it was a complete rewrite because 10.6 was basically at its limit of add-on features.
Sounded good and I tried the beta once it came out and though it had some warts, I definitely liked the look and feel of it compared to 10.6.
So now we have the so-called Gold edition of 11 and the complaints are rampant.
My big question is how can you release a product that has certain obvious features missing from the product it supposedly is replacing - comment field, chart printing etc.
Imagine Word coming out with a new, improved version but "sorry, font selection is not included yet" - I'm exaggerating but you get my point.
Now there seems to be some backtracking from the company, saying that it is NOT meant to replace 10.6 which is not what I was told when I joined.
Bottom line, 11 should still be in beta.
