If you compare the default pixel width between candle bars in v11.1 vs. 10.6, they're not the same. v10.6 looks perfect. v11.1 has them too close together. This is not a feature adjustable by the user (in 10.6 or 11.1) once you start scaling the X-Axis by dragging it to the left/right with the left mouse button. You're always going to wind up having the chart snap back to some internal default bar width spacing (i.e., the number of pixels of spacing between candle bars).
I think you should either have a new adjustable parameter called "default width between bars (in pixels)" which stays constant throughout left-click dragging along the X-Axis or you should revert back to v10.6's default width spacing.
[Note: manually changing the Bar Width in the Chart Properties in v11.1 is not the correct answer to this problem. Anyone who suggests this does not understand what I'm talking about]
