  • SideBySide error 33

    Hello,

I have started using 11.1 but every day I get this error in the event viewer :

Activation context generation failed for "C:\Windows\WinSxS\x86_microsoft.vc80.mfc_1fc8b3b9a 1e18e3b_8.0.50727.762_none_0c178a139ee2a7ed\MFC80. DLL". Dependent Assembly Microsoft.VC80.MFCLOC,processorArchitecture="x86",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",type="win32",version="8.0.50608.0" could not be found. Please use sxstrace.exe for detailed diagnosis.

How can I fix it ?

    (Windows 7 - 32 bits)

    Thanks.

    kasama2,

The bug has confirmed and has added to the bug tracking system.
Although this event type has Error value it does not actually lead to any negative consequences. You may freely ignore it.

        kasama2,

Reading some other forums post, this error appears it's related to the Microsoft Visual C++ Rebistributable Package not being installed.

I would recommend googling the error, read some of the post on forums and see if the resolutions provided resolve the problem.

            Consider it solved !
Installed Package redistribuable Microsoft Visual C++ 2005.
