Max Bars in watch List

I read somewhere that WatchList will only study the last 50 bars. If my Custom indicator requires more than 50 bars to calculate, is there a method to reference more bars in the WatchList?

That is correct, however we will be adding Time Templates for the Watchlist. This will allow users to set the number of bars that the indicator will calculaton. Watchlist Time Templates are scheduled to be added in eSignal 11.3.

so I assume in the next version the watchlist will also allow the user to speficy what times (ie overight vs primary session) will be included in an EFS study.

That would be great, as I have some issues with that currently

The equivalent of time templates for specific trading sessions needs to be applied for the watchlist, just as they are in charts so that's definitely on the list to complete. Hopefully, it makes it into 11.3
