  • IP address range for eSignal client?

    Hello,

Does anyone know all of the CIDR subnets that encompass any IP address that the eSignal client would use.

Referring to this KB article, it's clear which ports are utilized by the client. As for addresses, it only mentions that you can call them for an exhaustive list; and if you meet minimum criteria (which I do not), they will provide one to you.

Does anyone have this list or know of destination ranges?

    Thanks,

    Matt

    [edit]

    For reference, TCP port list:
    2189
    2190
    2192
    2193
    2194
    2196
    4001
    4002 *
    80

*I've also seen traffic on 4002, even though it's not listed in the above KB.

After some research, it turns out that there are two BGP ASNs associated with what appears to be DNS names that the client looks up. These are AS6394 and AS10997.

The list I obtained through this is:
    AS6394 192.101.150.0/23
    AS6394 198.184.171.0/24
    AS6394 198.190.10.0/24
    AS6394 199.217.8.0/21
    AS6394 199.217.8.0/22
    AS6394 199.217.12.0/24
    AS6394 199.217.14.0/23
    AS6394 208.240.76.0/23
    AS6394 216.23.224.0/21
    AS10997 198.180.162.0/24
    AS10997 198.183.140.0/24
    AS10997 198.183.141.0/24
    AS10997 198.183.142.0/24
    AS10997 198.183.143.0/24
    AS10997 198.190.11.0/24
    AS10997 198.202.190.0/24
    AS10997 199.181.252.0/24
    AS10997 199.181.254.0/24
    AS10997 208.77.36.0/22
    AS10997 216.23.232.0/23
    AS10997 216.23.234.0/23
    AS10997 216.23.236.0/24

Is this list missing any addresses?

    Thanks again!

Can you tell us what you need this information for? We can provide this but it's typically geared towards Institutional customers that have strict firewall requirements.

    Thanks.

      Thanks Scott.

In order to protect against rouge traffic and data leakage, I'd like to protect my hosts in the best possible manner; which includes strict outgoing firewall policies.

If you can provide this list, it'd be greatly appreciated.

      Thanks for your time
