  • Select multiple rows in a watch list?

    Hello all:
How does one select multiple rows in a watch list?
In 10.6 I can just click one row and drag the mouse to another row to do this, but in 11 it just moves the row.
Thanks in advance for any help.

You have a couple of ways you can do this.
One is to click on the starting row and then Shift+click on the ending row of the section you want to select. This will select all the rows from the first click to the last click
Alternatively you can click on the starting row and while pressing the Ctrl key drag the mouse to the ending row. This will select all the rows in which you dragged the cursor while holding the Ctrl key
The latter method also allows you to select non contiguous rows. So, for example you can click on one row then Ctrl+ click on any other non contiguous row and then Ctr+click and drag on yet another set of rows. This will select all the rows in which you Ctrl+clicked [or Ctrl+clicked and dragged]
The Ctrl key also allows you to deselect rows that were previously selected using either of the two methods indicated above
Lastly once you have selected multiple rows [contiguous or non-contiguous] you can click in any of the shaded ie selected row[s] and move the selection[s] to any other row
Note that the starting row of a Shift+click remains in effect until you either click or Ctrl+click a row.
