  • HD crash, how to recover the composite symbols?

    Hi,

I just had my HD crash, got it replaced and the old one is now an external drive with esignal still on it.
I have been able to launch the program by copying the Interactive Data folder containing all the files onto the new HD, the pages I recovered by copying the "Interactive Data" Folder from the Documents folder of old HD to new one.

I cant figure out where the composite symbols might be stored? Any other solution to this?

Making all the composite symbols again will be a real chore and I am hoping to avoid this if at all possible.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Composite symbols are stored in the Aliases.xml file, which is located in the C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Interactive Data\eSignal directory.

      Thanks Eric, that worked.

Any other folders that should be copied to the new HD to get everything working as before?
