Help with Market Depth and 3rd party application using API

There are two scenarios that I cannot get my head around.
1. My developer account does not have the permission to access Market Depth. When I request Depth data from NASDAQ or NYSE, I can get the event replied from Data Manager with zero data count. But When I request Depth from ASX exchange (a successful request to DbcAddASX2Symbol), there is no reply event from Data Manager. This happens for both 10.6 (Build 436) and 11.8 (Build 460) Data Managers. Is this issue related to the API version that I use ? dbcapi.dll (1.0.0.182) DBCAPI_BUILD_NUMBER = 173
2. One of the client has a trial eSignal account and claims to have access to Level 2 Depth Data for ASX exchange. He can see both ASX Chart and Market Depth display in eSignal v12. But the thing is I can see Market Depth chart in eSignal v12 as well without any Depth permission. So I cannot pin point the reason behind it. Both of us cannot access Depth for ASX exchange in my 3rd party application. This could be related to the first issue above.
