Over the past few months, I have begun to notice in real-time more and more instances of (sometimes large) discrepancies between the E-signal chart data and my broker's data.
E-signal chart data is now consistently behind the last tick from the IB data feed.
After noticing this, I compared with another broker - this time, a small discount Canadian broker, Questrade - again, the broker data is consistently ahead of the Esignal.
I began searching online to see if anyone else had experienced the same issue with other brokers.
I came across this live trade video from October 2nd, 2015 ---> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9pr_yAH4mI8
Here is another from Oct 1st, 2015 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7SfZi9B0L7E
Pause the video at any random spot and you can clearly see there is a large delay between the chart data and the trader's L2 broker window.
This guy has put out tons of videos over the years - all with E-signal - go back to any live video from over a year ago and you'll see that the data discrepancies are almost non-existent. This is consistent with what I have noticed with my own feed.
Is this issue known to the folks at E-signal? If not, the videos above should serve as significant evidence that this is something that should be looked into. Even the trader himself has noticed the change in quality of the data - you can see his comments below the video that was linked above. Furthermore, the topic of poor data quality has been noted and discussed in two separate trading rooms that I frequent.
I look forward to hearing a response from anyone at E-signal regarding this issue.
