change default chart from IBM

When I open a new advanced chart it comes up with symbol IBM and interval Daily.

2 questions:

1. How and where do I search for the answer for this question?
(I tried the keywords "advanced chart esignal default ibm" and various combinations of that on this forum, elite trade and google without finding an anwers)

2. How do I change the default advanced chart type?

1. The best place to look for that kind of information is the eSignal KnowledgeBase.
2. Set the symbol and interval you want to use as your new defaults then right click the chart, select Style Templates->Set As Default

Thanks Alexis that solves the problem. I tried searching the knowledge base using a few keywords for that answer (that you gave) but still no luck. What keywords would you have used?

I would have used defaults which brings up (admittedly not at the top of the documents found) this article.

Thanks Alexis. I can usually find that sort of stuff on my own and find it frustrating when I can't and have to waste someone else's time with the question. Your help is much appreciated.
