enable Backtesting

Hello, i am running esignal 7.2 build 544, and i can not backtest , this message appears after i try to run the backtest

unableto create XLM parser object
unable to open C:/programs files/ESIGNAL/BtOut/0-2.xml

any help would be appreciated

What is the formula you are using for the backtest? If it is a custom formula, please post it here or PM me it directly. Alternatively, you can post it in the File Sharing section of eSignal Central.

i'm just using my own formulas but i had the same message using the default backtesting formula (btEMA.efs)

what could it be i have no idea

any Tip?

I was able to run btEMA.efs in the backtester successfully. I know that error message was one we were getting in older versions of 7.x. I suspect that there are some remnants of an older version still present on your system. I would suggest a complete uninstall and reinstall to clear this up. This procedure can be found here.
