  • Saving older efs imported files

I have an efs (CCI Club) that can be automatically updated when a newer file is published. I want to archive my existing efs before I download a newer one. The new one may disrupt my charts in unexpected ways. If that happens, I want to revert to previous efs. Note: These efs's are brought in to esignal using the eSig auto incorporate feature not as plain stand alone efs files..

Another similar question is how can I obtain stand alone efs files from the autoload efs files?

    Hello venture99,

Before downloading the new file, make a copy of you current file with a new name. Then download the new file as is. What I typically do is add a date to the end of the file name (i.e. fileName091704.efs). That way I have a time stamp of when I make the copy. When you get a bunch of archived versions using this type of naming convention it makes it easy to know what files are newer or older versions.
