Are there any order entry front-ends that can place simulated orders against esignal tick replay?

    Hello rjalterman,

You can use eSignal Paper Broker under the Trade menu. Use $PLAYBACK as the symbol in the Paper Trading Order Entry window (Tools-->eSignal Paper Broker-->Trade).

Thanks, Jason, but that's not exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to have a realistic front-end (order entry system) and account tracking. But the fact that you can even use paper trader is news to me. I was under the impression (actually from Esignal) that paper trader can't be used for tick replay.

Anyway, I was able to find a way to do what I was looking for. Bracket Trader has a complete and realistic simulated trading feature that works with Esignal. I would imagine that a number of the other front-end developers are at least thinking about it also.
