  • Quick question...help required

    Hi There

    I am new to esignal, and cannot work out how to spread off one equity against another, so for instance, the historical spread between Microsoft and Dell.

    Many thanks for any assistance......

    Use the expression MSFT /DELL as the symbol itself.
    Note that there must be a space before the operator sign (the example below is showing a ratio)

        Hi again

        Are there any other criteria for it working? I can get your example plus some London stocks but so far no Japanese, so 8264-tse /8183-tse does not work,........

          Berni
          If the symbol begins with a number you need to precede it with an apostrophe. In the example you provide the symbol would be '8264-tse /'8183-tse
