quote window not refreshing

Why is it that my stock quote window does not refresh to zero every morning before the upcoming new trading day.

some stocks will still show yesterday's change and volume while the markets are opened, waiting for a trade to update, that gets confusing.

in the main menu select File->Preferences and in the General tab put a check market in Premarket Display
