Transferring E-signal settings from machine to machine

Hello again,

Is there any easy way to transfer all the default settings from one machine to another? I know how to transfer charts and layouts as that is very straightforward.

Hello Largo,

There is no one default file to transfer. Basically, you will just need to save each window, transfer those files over to the new install, then open them in the new install. Once they are open in the new install, then you will need to set the defaults again.

What I do, is I just synchronize the whole c:\program files\esignal directory on the 2 machines.

Works perfect here.

You can use specialized software like SecondCopy2000 for this, if you want to do this on a regular basis.
