  • overlaying commodities price

I would like to know if there is a way to overlay a price index over a stock chart to show its underlying commodity. For instance if i am watching the stock of a copper mining company, is there a symbol i can use to compare its stock price movement to the price of copper?
Is there a list of commodities prices i can use such as a basic crude oil price index (not for commodities trading but just as an indicator for stocks?)

You can overlay up to 4 symbols in the price window. these can be added from the Change Symbol dialog box that appears when you change symbol/interval of a chart. Click on the Multiple Symbols>> button and insert the symbols to overlay in the cells.
You can find the complete list of commodities here. Select Futures and then the corresponding exchange.

hg #f is the copper continuous contract. when you are in advanced chart mode and you type a symbol on the screeen look underneath and you will see multiple symbol, click on it and enter up to five symbols
