Hi,
I have been using eSignal for about 1-1/2 years and love the program. However, a couple months ago, I created a custom index using less than 5 symbols and weighted each one to balance out the values. This custom index has become invaluable to my method of trading.
The problem is.. when the market heats up ie; during economic news release, or White House scare, or Ford & GM Junk news release.... it causes my CPU to peg out at 100% causing my charts to freeze up.
I am running a 2.4ghz P4 with 1 gig ram, two graphics cards supporting 4 crts on one and 1 lcd on the other.
I have contacted eSignal support by phone and they have been unable to resolve this issue for me. Unless this problem can be resolved, I will have to discontinue my subscription to eSignal and switch to a different charting package. In fact, I am testing a competitors package currently and it handles this custom index with no problems. I just hate to have to change programs since I have a lot of time and study invested into eSignal.
Can anybody help me resolve this issue?
Thank you very much
