    Is eSignal going to consider it now??? I think a lot of users will support this... thx

    Has there been an announcement, or is this just a continuation of the ongoing (3+ years at least) rumor that AAPL is moving to intel.

    In any case, for an application, the hard part is porting to a new OS (ie: From windows to MAC OS X). The underlying architecture (IBM Power or Intel64) isn't as big a deal, since a good OS will abstract the hardware layer to some degree.

    So even if this does happen, I wouldn't expec this would change things for eSignal. But it could be that tools like Wine or VMWARE could allow some method for running eSignal if AAPL does move to intel.

      We have users using eSignal on Macs using VirtualPC.

      But as Garth says, it's the operating system that's important, rather than the underlying architecture. eSignal will still require Windows.
