Autoscaling and Intervals Questions

Two questions:

1) How do I turn off autoscaling forever ? (Using Style Templates doesn't work).

2) How do I copy an interval from Other Intervals to the Intervals shortcuts ?

It doesn't appear that there is a way to turn off Auto-Scaling by default. I have submitted this suggestion to our Product Development Team. The tracking number for this EDL#11418.
