I have set up 4 charts in a layout, but when I change the time interval on one chart it affects the other charts by changing them too. How do I change the time interval on each chart independantly?

That means that you have Interval linking enabled on those charts. See this article in the eSignal KnowledgeBase on Symbol and Interval Linking
