When will esignal begin to offer these type of market data?

It is the only thing missing from this fine program!

          Breadthalizer

I have been lobbying for Breadthalizer-like capability in eSignal ever since I switched over from Quote.com last year. In fact, it's the only reason I hung in with Quote.com for as long as I did.

However, as an emini day trader looking to guage realtime stock market follow thru/ divergence relative to the futures, it was missing a key feature.

For well over a year, I repeatedly requested that Quote.com implement the Breadthalizer tickers for the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq 100 (rather than just the COMP, COMPQ and DJIA). Their total lack of response made me finally throw in the towel.

All this to say that my vote is "Really want it " only if these categories are included.

Now that IDC has acquired S&P Comstock, is there a better chance of seeing this in eSignal? I really hope so.

            Thanks

            thanks Bob.

I really appreciate all of the people who have voted.

I too hope that the change in ownership will allow for the addition of some value added symbols as well. If you are monitoring the market in real time, these can be very valuable!

            Thanks to all.

              Thanks

Thanks to all who have voted, even those who don't yet recognize the need.

I am guessing that many of the voters that asked for these features are E Mini traders. I know that is what I use them for!

                    Hi,

I think adding more detailed market statistics will be of great benefit to both eSignal users (especially daytraders), and eSignal themselves, as another selling benefit.

Check out some of the threads with "$tick / $trin / $ticki" titles in "efs studies" section on the bullitin board - as this issue has arose here.

                        Hi Compradun,

I daytrade the DOW. I checked out the breadthalizer indicators today and a lot of them are very valuable to daytraders. eSignal offers an excellent package as it is, and the addition of these would be a big bonus on top.

                          Other value added items

                          My wish list would include:

A value weighted put/call ratio. This is a Larry McMillan idea. This lessens the value of deep out of the money option trades in favor of the at-the-money or in-the-money trades.

Some indices from stockcharts.com like McClellan oscilators and % bullish stocks like:

                          http://stockcharts.com/def/servlet/SC.web?c=$NYA50R,uu[l,a]dallnnay[pc10!c20][iLe12,25,9!Lb14]&pref=G

I would like to take these symbols and add them to systems.

We now have 75%+ favoring addition of value added symbols on the overall market to Esig.

                              4 out of 5

I think the final total reflects a strong consensous to have more value added symbols!

Perhaps Esig will spend more time developing along these lines in the future since the consumers have shown a demand for it.
