drawing trendlines in non price studies

Is there any setting I need to put on a non price study in order to be able to draw trendlines on it.

As I seem to be able to draw on some efs studies and not on others.

Are you referring to trend lines drawn using the tools from the Line Toolbar or through efs?

Using the line drawing tools from the toolbar to add a trendline to the indicator panel.

In some cases the value of an indicator and/or symbol can be much lower than the resolution of the trend lines which may be the problem you are experiencing. If the indicator is an efs you could multiply the return by a constant so as to increase its value to one that the line tools can handle. Alternatively you could multiply the symbol by a constant (you can use the Spread Symbol Settings to do this)
