linetools on tick charts

Linetools on tick charts don't seem to work for me. Is this a bug?

For example, all the linetools are blocked out and unavailable for use with "ES #F, 360T"

Line Tools are not yet implemented on tick charts (and all derivates of tick charts such as volume-bars or seconds charts).

Any ETA on when line tools will be available on tick charts?? I can't understand why they are not available to begin with - what's the difference?

We hope to have lines on tick charts available in version 8.0 due out in the later part of this year.
