What is new in October release of eSignal 7.9.1

Is there a difference in October release of eSignal 7.9.1 and July 2005 release of the same version?

If there is a difference, why there is no mention of any newer build or version?

I have the July 2005 version 7.9.1. Should I uninstall it & download the oCtober version?

I believe the main difference is some fixes to the Strategy Analyzer (see this announcement)
You do not need to uninstall your existing version. Just download the new version and install it over the existing one

Why do most Gurus recommend uninstalling the old version & fresh install of new versions especially the operating system?

Sorry I don't have an answer to that question.
All I can tell you is that I have done countless upgrades of eSignal on multiple machines without ever uninstalling and without having any problems.
