The only symbols I can find are on the LIFFE exchange
LX my-LF for the futures (where m=month and y=year) or LX A0-LF for the cash.

      Hi Jeddins,
I used to daytrade the FTSE, and used $UKX-FTSE for the cash index.

I am curious why the DAX 30 and CAC 40 ($DAXI and $CAC) are available, but the FTSE 100 is not.

          Hi,
All of the FTSE Indicies can be found at :

This is the FTSE section in the European Indicies lookup. London stocks can be found in the LSE section.

In looking at this more closely I don't think it is available. Whereas the DAX and CAC are available with a North American region subscription I believe you need to subscribe to the European region and specifically to the FTSE Indices to see the symbol you indicate.

              Hi Alex,
Yes, that's correct. The FTSE "intraday real-time data" is only available if the person subscribes to the FTSE Index Values (and the European region if they don't already do so). The other indicies you mentioned are free for real-time.
