• eSignal time versus local time

I live in the Eastern Time Zone so this problem never occured to me, literally.

A friend and new eSignal user living in California installed 7.91 and found that the time scale on all his charts was off by 3 hours until he set his computer clock to Eastern time zone.

Is there a way to set the time internally in eSignal to Eastern so he can have local time on his computer? All his emails etc are now off by 3 hours. lol.

    Thanks in advance.

At this time, no, this is not possible. However, in eSignal 8.0 a time feature will exist (currently in an early internal alpha testing.) As currently designed, it will give the user 3 choices.

Local PC time
Exchange's local time (time of chart will vary based on where the symbol is listed.)
GMT Time
If you have any questions about this, please let us know.
