Time Template help

Hello,

I am having trouble setting time templates on tick and volume charts. I tried setting a 4-day limit but I keep getting many days more data than that. Today on 6E I got 10 days worth of data. This really slows down eSignal. The time template won't stay checked on the context menu.

How can I get eSignal to only load 4 days of tick and volume data? (I have studies that require prior day's data.)

Hi es5es5,

First goto Time Template>Edit and create a new template. Set it to Type:User Defined, enter the letter "T" for Interval, # Days to "4", specify open/close time to your preference, then click on the Update/Add button and then click Close.

Right click on the chart goto Time Template and select the name of the template your created. Change the chart to either a 1T or 100T on the interval field.

Right click on the chart and goto Tools>Go To Date and specify the date you want to go back to and click "OK"
