  • Accessing File Share from ESignal

I am an administrator of a group in file share and through the web site I can add/delete files to the group. However, when I try to do this from within ESignal 7.91, I get a message box saying that I am not an administrator/moderator.

Does anyone know how to set this up from within ESignal?

Make sure that you filled in the Login and Password boxes and checked both Remember my ID and Password and Automatically Login in the eSignalCentral FileSharing Settings which is available under Tools in the main menu of eSignal

      Hi Alex,

      Yes, I had done that.

For the http server it would not accept http://share.esignal.com/. so I used the one from the file share directory:
http://share.esignal.com/groupcontents.jsp?groupid=868 and got a response back that I am not an admin or moderator.

I also restarted esignal in case there was an .ini file issue.

      Any ideas?

For HTTP Server I have http://share.esignal.com
Also are you using your Login name or email address for the Login? Try using the email address. Other than that I can't think of anything else that may be causing this

Edit after post: If you can't input the HTTP Server in the Settings dialog box you may want to try and do that in the winsig.ini

          Alex-

          Now working perfectly. Many thanks.

I had used the username that I log into file share with but switching to my email address did the trick.
