continuous contract historical data

HI,

After using the continuous contract function on 6e1!, i have a problem with the set of data after specifying a time template, say 8:20-15:00. I have defined to get 200 days 5 min data; however, the set of data i get is only starting from June27,2006 only. May i know how to fix this problem Thanks a lot.

Hi Dondon,

Sounds like you might need to change the continuous contract settings. To see these you will have to go to "Tools" then "Continuous Contract Settings" once in here (if you haven't already) select NEW and put in your contract which you wish to view. Then click on New Template, edit this to fit in with your criteria, e.g. when it rolls over, etc.
Then after you click OK on this window, select the months which it rolls over to and ENABLE BACK ADJUSTMENT (you will have to tick this box)
Open a new chart and put in the symbol or if you wish to see the change in an exsisting chart, retype the symbol to make sure the data is refreshed.
