  • placing the cursor window

I move my cursor window so that it is flush with the top left corner of my chart to maximize the viewable area of the chart. At first it looks like it was moved there successfully. But when I click to another chart and then back to the first chart, I find that a margin (offset) was added to the top and to the left of the cursor window so that the cursor window is longer where I placed it.

    Can that margin be disabled?

    Tom,

I am not aware of any setting to disable that offset you refer to. You may want to look into using the Global Cursor Window that will be available in eSignal 7.3. This window is a stand-alone Cursor Window that shows the information of the chart the mouse is currently hovering over. To enable the Global Cursor Window in eSignal 7.3, click on View - Global Cursor Window.

If you would like to try 7.3 before its release, you can download it from here.
