Crack spread

Can someone tell me how to constract a chart of the crack spread. Its gasoline vs crude futures. Thanks

On an Advanced Chart, type any # , this brings up "Change Symbol" box.
paste "42HU U6 - CL U6" - without the "s into symbol
put 'D' into interval

the 42 before HU converts it from $/gal to $/barrel to match how CL is quoted

Does "HU U6" with interval set to 'D' for daily work?
If not,you may not be subscribed to the right data.

I have full CME data, and can only do daily, minutes do not work for me since I do not subscribe to NYMEX data

Correction: the NYMEX 3-2-1 formula I stated previously is for 3 barrels ($ per 3 barrel spread), not 1

FWIW, I frequently get bogus values because the futures values are so cumbersome. I work with a lot of spreads in the soy complex, and I can't tell you how many times I've typed "SX6" or "SX 6" instead of "S X6." I'm sure this wasn't your problem, but just in case . . .
