dsl line download speed for esignal

I am going to be moving soon to an area which does not have full blown dsl availability at 1.5mbps but has idsl availability at 144kbps. Will this effect the performance of my esignal platform such as it getting data too slow to be effective for the quick scalps i need it for.
Also for those that use jtrader same question.

This move should not effect the timeliness of the RT data. Most likely the only noticeable difference will be the time it takes to download historical data.
