  • Should a page save the chart interval?

I'm a new esignal user and have searched for the answer to this but was unable to find it.

I have created a page with 4 charts. Each chart has a different time interval (ie, 15m, 30m, 60m, and 120m). The charts all display the same instrument.

I saved the page, but when I open it up again they will all be the same time interval. Everything else is getting saved properly such as window position and chart properties. I then have to manually change the interval on 3 of the charts.

Whats strange is that sometimes it saves the interval and sometimes it does not. This seemed very odd so I thought I would ask about it.

I have also looked at using layout but would prefer to use page if possible.

    Regards,
    Mark

Check if the Interval link is enabled in your charts. This is the I icon in the Title Bar of the chart.
For a detailed description of this feature see this article in the eSignal KnowledgeBase.

I am using symbol linking but not interval linking, so thats not the problem. I double checked this.

But after a couple of hours of searching I have found the core problem anyway. It seems to be a bug. Take a look at this thread:
