Problems with Esignal-DDE-Excel

Hi,
i have read, that there are a lot of problems with ESignal-DDE.
E.G. CPU becomes very slow, recieving quotes isn`t realtime sometimes and with more than 100 symbols, excel freezes?
What about the limit of 500 symbols?
What do you thing about that? Any alternative to DDE? Perhaps AciveX? Any Examplesheet?

I know of no problems with the DDE links or eSignal that would slow down the CPU or cause excel to freeze with just 100 symbos.

The data is controlled by the Data Manager which checks your entitlement for what data comes in realtime or delayed. Meaning that if you're entitled for realtime data that what you'll get.

You can use 500 symbols but you should know that Sigtools does limit the number of Hot Links you can associate with Excel. The URL below will take you to an article explaining the 2500 Hot Link limit from the developer of Sigtools.
