  • Which exchange gives you S&P futures?

    Hi,

Which exchange gives you real-time data for S&P futures? The exchange fees for eSignal are listed here (click the blue button on the page for Exchange Fees).

    The exchanges listed here include:

    CME level I
    CME E-minis
    CME Globex Level I
    CBOE futures
    CBOT level I
    CBOT mini size futures.

I don't know which one I would need, in order to see the S&P 500 futures.

    Thanks for any help,
    Whinston

You want the full contracts or the e-mini?

Most people use the e-mini contracts.

    S&P 500, Nasdaq 100 and Russell 2000 contracts on the CME E-mini.

Dow futures are on the CBOT E-mini.

      Thanks. E-mini's would be fine.

Also, I noticed that CBOT mini-sized futures cost $0/month. What are some of the futures symbols that come with that package? For example, when I type SP #F into eSignal, and I pull up a chart, am I then looking at a CBOT mini-sized futures symbol?

Can you name one or two symbols that come with the CBOT mini-sized futures package? Do they have any Dow futures, or S&P futures??

      Thanks again,
      Whinston

You can find the list of the symbols included in the free CBOT mini sized futures package in this page of the eSignal Symbol Directory
For the list of the symbols included in the CME Emini package see instead this page.
