DDE (Sigtools) for Excel

Hello,

I had been using, for a long time sigtools, in an Excel spreadsheet with great success (I was using Esignal 7.6). I just changed computer (XP home - Excel 2000 - Esignal 8.0 and the dreaded TS 2000i). When I try to use Sigtools, Excel hangs and no data is returned.

Is there a cure for this?

I've used Excel 2003, XP Home, eSig 8.0 and Sigtools with no issues (can't speak to TS2000i). First thing I'd check is whether the issue is Sigtools or DDE itself. Try a fresh speadsheet and manually enter a DDE link (have eSignal running as well).

Future example

=WINROS|LAST!'ES #F'

Equity example

=WINROS|LAST!IBM

If those work, DDE is likely OK. May also want to try running w/o TS2000i. May just take a few steps to determine what's causing the conflict.
