Optimization

Hello,

I don't know what others think but I would love to hear the point of vues.
Former user of Tradestation, I went for Esignal.

I am astonished to see that there is no optimization feature. I trade since 1988 and the purpose of this note is not to go into the pros and cons of optimization. The point is that in some cases, optimization is mandatory. How can a software so powerful lack this feature, and does anybody know how to solve this issue.

From my point of vue, if I don't find a solution to my problem, I will definitely go back to tradestation.

Hi,
I am a new user and I want to test some automatic systems in eSignal.
Before, with other programs,I tested this systems optimazing the variables (parameters) but I don´t know if this is possible with esignal.
I don´t want a backtesting, i want a optimization in base to profits of my system.

The forums here do give lots of support for most subjects.
I still use eSignal for data and running many charts I created; and yes it is lacking in several areas.

Here are a few links for optimization - you do NEED to be a fairly decent programmer to use these tools.
