Historical Indices in Metastock

Is there a file somwhere with eSignal'
s complete Index symbol list? Metastock doesn't provide the correct symbols for eSignal (ie. $XXXX). They only give the Reuters format. The stock symbols are fine, but not the indices.

I am trying to avoid having to input all 600+ symbols by hand.

Indice list

While we don't currently maintain a downloadable list of our Indices, I can make one suggestion that would be faster than typing one by one. The Indices on Symbol Look-up are in a table. If you copy/paste each section of Indices into Excel, you'll get 4 colmuns of information, lead by the Indices symbols. With a little tweaking, you should be able to copy/paste just the symbols.

Since most of our customers have a 500 concurrent symbol limit, we don't get many requests to load large lists of symbols.
