  • Exporting proprietary indicators to Excel

    Hello,

I have some 3rd party indicators that are not listed when I try to export the data to an excel spreadsheet.

Could someone please tell me if the indicator code needs to be modified to allow this function or if there is some other reason why they are not exportable.

These are proprietary and hence encrypted so I can not view or post the code.

    I am using eSignal V8.0

    Thank you

      Hi Alexis,

From within the Adv Chart, I right click and go to Tools / Data Export.

The Data Export Dialog Box does not list the particular indicators I was after.

The MACD and Stochastic as well as other studies/indicators are listed.

      Cheers

If you are running the proprietary study and this is not showing in the Data Export Window then this means that the study is not returning any values to the chart. In that case there is nothing you can export from that study.
