  • Can bid/ask be referenced directly as symbols?

I'm creating user-defined spreads (using Tools/Spread Symbol Settings), and I would like to reference the bid/ask prices in my formulas (rather than the last price). Is this possible? I used to use Neoticker, and one could reference the bid or ask field by using a different symbol (e.g., instead of 'ES M7' the symbol would be something like 'ES M7:A' for the ask or 'ES M7:B' for the bid). Even a way to use the bid/ask midpoint would be preferable to using the last price.

If this feature is not available, please consider it for the future. It makes charting spreads much more accurate. Thank you.

To my knowledge it is not possible because user defined spreads cannot be based on individual ticks (see this article in the eSignal KnowledgeBase)
