Resetting eSignal Paper Trade Order ID

Not that it matters much, but how can I ensure that the order ID resets back to 1 when I reset eSignal Paper Trade?

Hi Wat Tyler,

To reset the OrderID back to 1 when you do the reset or the Paper Trading Broker window you would need to go into the .DAT file and set the number there.

To do so go into the Directory C:\Program Files\eSignal and found the PaperTrades.dat file. The file can open it with Notepad, inside look for OrderID change the number to 1.

This will reset the number count back to 1.
