Can anyone please help. I need to know at what time does the new candle start in the daily chart. I thought it was at 5pm US time. Is that not the case?

From the context of your message it is not quite clear what you are asking.
If you want to know what Start/End times eSignal uses for Forex then you may want to review this article in the eSignal KnowledgeBase.
If instead you are asking when a new bar is formed on a Forex daily chart then that currently happens at midnight (local) instead of at the actual start time. This is a known issue and affects the daily charts of all the symbols that have overnight trading. What occurs is that for the period in between the beginning of the new session (ie the session of the next trade date) and midnight eSignal combines the new session with the current daily bar. At midnight a new daily bar is created based on the new session and the prior day's bar is restored to its original values.
This issue should be resolved in the next version of eSignal which is currently in beta (no official release date has been announced)
