  • Computer monitors

I have just started using eSignal and I currently have an old 17inch crt monitor. I need to replace this with two or three flat panels.
    I would welcome any reccomendations
I am thinking of 20 inch monitors, but don’t know if I should buy the conventional format or wide screen format. Is there a minimum specification for the video card?
    Thanks

    Video Cards, http://www.tomshardware.com/2007/07/...600/index.html

As for monitors, this is a 22" wide screen model that is reasonable if you are on a budget (my son bought one) ... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824009102

I really like the 23" widescreen though, and when I upgrade I will likely go that route (from two 19" non-wide screen Samsung and 19" Viewsonic TFT). A 23" widescreen has roughly the same vertical height as does a traditional 19", but is much wider. FWIW, a 19" wide screen will likely disappoint, the visible screen height would be comparable in height to your 17" CRT.

Based on the first link, the "lower end" video cards are a bargain and my only recommendation is that you get one with two DVI outputs.
