  • Esignal 10 very slow

I installed new esginal 10 on winxp x64 with 2GB ram and AMD athlon 64 2000+ and it always stucks at high CPU utilization around %98 for so long just to load a chart/new symbol.

    What's up?

Doesn't eat much of my processor up, but it is Sunday night and it is taking 10 seconds to load every chart. Extremely frustrating.

SSG10- I found this article on the 64 Bit processor on the eSignal Knowledge Base. In the article is confirms some compatibility issues with the 64 bit processors.

There is also an I included an article with some helpful tips and hints to lookover for the overall preformance of eSignal and what could be some things that would slow the plotting of charts.

I hope this helps and please let me know if I could be of any other assistance.

Ok I found a way out if people have same problem

I installed VMware WinXP 32 on top of WinXp x64. Installed esignal on VMware, and it works great. It's only the screen is a bit smaller because of VMware's toolbars.

        I'll live with it.

        Thanks

          After a few weeks

running on vmware xp 32 OS, it gradually becomes worse.

After a few stock quotes, esignal starts to take longer and longer to load. This is really getting me crazy, especially after paying pre-paid for the whole year.
